a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Poems written late in June 2012
These are more esoteric than most recent ones I've written.
Comments welcome.

POEMS
1.
I see the Moon
in my soup bowl
stir, stir, stir, but
it won't mix in!
2.. [From a poem collection on a mystical place called Blue Mountain]
We think there's a madman (?) that roams the mountain
and wears a blue cloak to hide in it's rocks.
that spins his edicts on cloud shaped paper
that he hands to the wind circling the world,
like a winged creature gliding down,
dropping into bottles that tip into the sea,
corked with purpose and cradled by waves.
3.
I have on my left
an open bird cage.
I have to my right
another with a bird.
I open it's door
and wait and see ...
4.
Like a veil
or a spider's web
5. [This is also a verse of lyrics to one of my short songs]
There's a man
on a bridge
looking up
watching birds
flying by
from cloud to cloud.
6. [Short story in 6 words]
The Moon
is building
a ladder!!!
SAYINGS
In science being wrong 97% of the time is great!
I don't have an art studio. I have a desk.
Go forward with the graphite, go back with the eraser.
It's important that you eat healthy; but, it's also important that you have a will to live - balance the two.
My goal is to get painting out of the ivory tower and back into the world.
The quality of music is not an opinion, it's an awareness.
i introduced my clone to my doppelganger...
[In Ballet] The sixth position is hovering!
