We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Poems written in late  May of 2011
[poem notes in brackets like this]
POEMS
1.   [What if???]
found on the Moon
a Rosetta Stone!
2. [simple poem, double meaning]
I turn around
but the fog is heavy
it's hard to see
anything clearly
3.
Moon you conjuror you -
taking in rays of the sun
into your gray and barren land.
then sending them out again
creamy light, stirring whites
now filled with stunning joy and beauty!
Moon you conjuror you!
4.
the wind moves
the dead moth's wing
but it's no use
5.
a flash in the storm
then a firefly
"I'll call you
little echo."
6.
Halfway between
heaven and earth
a cloud in the sun
begins to fade
SAYINGS
If the old ideas worked, we wouldn't have the problem.
Like a ladder half way up a wall...
How can those who are unconscious predict the emergence of consciousness?
Thousands of zinesters and all their writings from the decades of the desktop explosion, are erased from publishing history by the mainstream media - in a real life example of, George Orwell's 1984,'ministry of truth".
