Poems Written During Early April 2011
POEMS
There are some Moon poems here. Someday I'd like to do a collection of all my Moon poems.
1.
Some nights
are dark
and some have
a Moon
2. The Woman's Lament
the petals
of the flowers
he gave me
are falling
3.
this umbrella
is stuffed with wind!
4.
Mother and ducklings
all in a row
are watched by the children
in a fire drill.
5.
the moonlight ties
everything together
6.
Silly mean banker parents
they can be the cruelest
Named daughter Penelope -
Y. Pound-Foolish!
7.
in the land
of owning things
no surprise
thieving reigns
8.
the Moon -
light house!
9.
They stole the Cathedral
our world's greatest art
the aliens don't probe
bumpkins no more!
10.
the day
drifts away
like a drop
in a pool
SAYINGS
On some modern artists - Sure he's an artist - a con artist.
Good habits are just as hard to break as bad ones.
Beware skinny people with power.
I did some minimal art. Then lost it in the clutter.
