News*This month brought a lot of new websites from our friends: everybody's favorite zine,
Funwater Awesome,
now has a blog counterpart where you can indulge in more of Mr
Mandeville's great writing; newly-born/long-time-coming Portland
electronic label
Dropping Gems opened their internet doors in the last month; and
Southern Skies has made it so you can bypass myspace for at least one band.
*Our dear local zine librarian, Kelsey Smith, gave us a little write-up in the
Library Journal's article on zine distros. She's the best.
*In more Funwater news,
Funwater Awesome #2 (my personal favorite, though they're all great) got picked up by
Microcosm! Congrats to our dear Mr Zach Mandeville on that one.
Until next month, JJ.
