Musea Extra: Web Friends Weigh in With Their Support
My idea of a National Hiring Day has attracted the attention of Murph Murphy, a poster I have met on the news site Huffington Post. He liked the idea, talked it over with some of his friends, and they came up with this revision. I like it. Murph also has some important connections both in the government and the media, that he can contact. I look forward to seeing what they say.
In the meantime here is the new, revised version of National Hiring Days. We encourage you to pass the word to others.

NATIONAL HIRING DAYS: A GRASSROOTS EFFORT TO ENGAGE BIG BUSINESS
Challenging Big Business to Put Their Fellow Americans First
There is a workable strategy that addresses the jobs crisis right now
and it could quickly put hundreds of thousands of people back to work.
It is not pro left or right.
It is not the property of any corporation.
It is not the idea of any political party.
It's totally voluntary.....and it helps all with little sacrifice from anyone.
What’s Needed? Sponsorship for and promotion of National Hiring Days
Natinal Hiring Days would be scheduled once a quarter.
Businesses, especially the most profitable Big Businesses would be called on to put patriotism first and help their country in hard times.
Those corporations that cannot hire, would be asked to stop firing for that month.
Republicans should love this because it's outside the government and voluntary.
Democrats should love this because it helps the little guys needing jobs.
Independents should love this because it has universal appeal with little sacrifice from any one corporation, group, or person.
Corporations should love this because with just a handful of hires they become part of a collective country wide jump start of the economy.
There has never been a time In American History where hiring people would hurt corporations less, and help the country more
An idea of the 18 year old Dallas Art and Media zine Musea.
