The answer to, and winner (if any) for, our last contest question of:
"Defenestrate', is one weird word. It means to throw someone out of a window. The term likely comes from an incident in 1618, in Prague, when
two imperial commissioners were thrown from a window in the Palace of Prague. My question is this, what happened to the men.
Though the drop was some 30 feet or so, they landed in a pile of manure and escaped with little injury.
Congratulations to David, from Durham N.C.
Seems the rest of you defenestrated the answer out of your heads.
I don't dumb DOWN, so wise UP.

This major American writer bragged that he could write a complete short story with beginning, middle, and end in only 6 words. The other writers around the table bet him $10 he couldn't. He could and he won. Who was the writer and reprint his short story.
