Mad Hatter Distro & RatBrat #12

Hello All!,

I've had a rough few months since January. At the moment, I am trying to find my first apartment so that I can stop couch surfing, which is fun, but tiresome at times. I don't think I was built for roommates.

That said, I am still zining! Money's tight, but I just got a new job and should have photo copy funds in the near future. RatBrat #12 is nearly finished and should be interesting considering most of my art supplies are packed away somewhere amidst stacks of heavy cardboard boxes.

I'd also like to give an update on Mad Hatter Distro, which I began trying to get up and running back in January. Sadly, I was not able to accomplish this in March as planned. I am still working on this, although the website needs some updating before it's ready to open. A few changes are going to be made in regards to submissions and ordering, the major one being that I'll be paying zinesters upfront for their zines and (possibly) accepting flats too. Consignment was just going to be WAY too confusing for me. This may limit the distro stock at first, but I really feel like it will work better all around, for myself and the zinesters involved. Keep an eye out for more updates!

I'm always looking for distros to carry my zines. My main one is a perzine called Yard Sale! that I publish every three months.

I'm also starting up a zine distro of my own out in Ontario and I'd be happy to take some copies of RatBrat.
