a place for zinesters - writers and readers
It seems strange that in a city of this you can feel pangs of loneliness. I'm waiting for those moments of being in the right place at the right time, having adventures and taking chances. Last week a friend and I were walking aimlessly in my neighborhood and came across a small group of people playing bags on the street. They shared their beer, whiskey, and conversation. It was wonderful. Moments like that are beautiful, but few and far between.
I'd love to meet up with some Chicago zinesters. Maybe that will be the next big adventure.
How do I meet you?

Maybe I'm just hoping to make more of a connection with people. I've been in search of things that I can be involved in (hobbies, activism, and otherwise), but it's difficult to find those things. The underground is perhaps a little too underground.
And Becky, I'd love to meet up with you at Quimby's one day. Just let me know when (weekends are good, or during the week after 6:30) works for me.
You're not the only person thats lonely in chicago. I hear its a lonely town.
Quimbys is awesome though and theres lots of great restaurants and stuff to do
