I'm pretty ashamed of my lack of writing for the past months. Not so much that I haven't been writing, but everything is just listed out "what i did today" "to do" "This pissed me off...blah blah blah." Trivial stuff. Journal things. One sentence proclamations.
Anyway, a few nights ago I got on the computer and typed out a good concrete nine/ten paragraphs of abstract writing. I finished reading "Please Don't Kill the Freshmen" by Zoe Troppe for the second time. I'm always amazed by her style and I think the reason I love this book so much is because she writes out her thoughts exactly the way that I think. So in this zine I'm hoping to conceive(yet to pick out a name) I'm going to have a lot of writing that's personal and dripping with dirty, raw, salty imagery.
I've never been so much into Perzines for myself because I have a problem explaining things without sounding like a whiny bitch about it. But I really think what I have here is good and workable. And I plan on creating more zines, one about the paranormal and perhaps one about gardening/cooking. Something that's non-fiction!! And DIY.
I'm working.
