We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

in this semi-depressed state would be good or bad....?

I do enjoy dark zines, and dark things in general, but would I later regret anything I put in it? Would I look back on it as a result of my depression or dark creativity?

Things to think about!!!

I see no problem with writing a dark things or experssing depressed thoughts.
Personally, if I were to write a zine (or anything really) I dont think Id regret what I created later, although thinking on my own "darker" pieces of work done while depressed, Im not sure they did come out as my best work....
Interesting question.

Personally in terms of writing potentional pieces for zines i'd hate to stride towards the aspirations of writing a ''dark zine'' which would embrace melancholy aspects of whatever, for the simple reason that after a while i may start to think that i can only write this particular zine in a ''semi-depressed'' state which could hinder all avenues of creativity to a degree and encourage a stale unpleasurable zine.

But thats just my feelings i suppose.
