a place for zinesters - writers and readers
We are Homeless Longitude, a lo-fi zine created in Bali, Indonesia that prints and posts artwork and writing from people all over the globe. It’s an open submission publication, which means YOU can send us your art – anything (really!) from sketches, to smears, from photos, to footprints – and we will print it in our monthly issues as well as post it on our blog. Don’t be shy, we’re not art critics and we’re not chasing the ‘cool’… We simply want to support creativity in every form it takes – from babies on down to the grannies. (click here for more info on how you can contribute.)
In December of 2011, we held a month-long exhibition in Bali to celebrate our one year anniversary as well as to showcase artwork from our first 12 issues. The group show featured 21 artists and over 40 pieces. We were honored (and surprised, frankly) to have such a great response from gallery goers and artist alike. Jan-Feb 2012 marks our 14th issue.
We currently print 200 copies that are available for FREE! click here to see where you can get your copy. Of course you can always see it on our blog, where we feature bonus content that doesn’t fit into our pocket-sized issues. WE ARE LOOKING TO TRADE/DISTRIBUTE in ASIA!!! so contact us if you are interested in a swap, collaboration, or distro opportunity.
