a place for zinesters - writers and readers

First Zine?

Well I'm trying to find the time / inspiration to get my first zine off the ground. It's going to be a short illustrated story, about a girl who is born with pencils instead of hands.

First images are coming soon.

Also, I'm looking to compile a few zines with my artwork and writings, but I feel strange and a little self absorbed doing something like that. Anyone got any ideas for themes?

I think I've decided that my first zine will be a compilation of images and poetry that all relate to each other. Like each image has a poem, or each poem has an image. Not sure yet, still looking for inspiration. Thanks for the tip though. :D

themes - lol how about dealing with feeling self-absorbed. XD
