DEMOCRATIC ROMANCES

Buried at sea wrapped up nice and neat,

Still with eastern nations we won’t find peace,

For in meaningless military advances, we take violent chances,

Selling out on the world stage a dance of democratic  romances.

American dreams now lie in Las Vegas with a mini-lady liberty,

Yet extremists hate us for our foreign Orwellian policies,

not our flocking to topless spring break beaches I  Florida,

but our attempt to police middle eastern cities like Fallujah,

caring less that on weekdays we give cars away on Oprah.

 

Today I heard on bobble headed media:

“Unmanned drone attacks kill six migrant workers”,

“O ’wait we meant six armed militant soldiers”.

As morning  news  sings  austerities  sad  song,

Midday media hypes up royal weddings across the pond,

They say social security a giveaway after our taxes paid,

All too much?   Wanna give up? Slit wrists?

Well not today, Medicaid don’t cover cosmetic vein fillet.

 

Some say my words are treasonous,

But I call it exercising my freedom God has given us,

So after pushing ourselves faster down rabbit holes of disaster,

let’s  mobilize collectives preaching and teaching,

fighting for  freedom from fiendish check book regimes….
