the first zine i printed was kaos komix 1 and 2.it was 4 pgs,and i handed it out in the city.bad attitude comics was a group zine i did with some commie punks in ny from 81 to 82,there were 6 issues(8 1/2 by 11,200-500 copy runs).anarcomix 1 and 2 were printed in vermont in 1983,and were 36 pages long(200 copy runs,8 1/2 by 11,self published).cult failure was a group mag/zine printed by damian in 1986 or 7,in upstate.i had 4 pgs in it(full size,500 copies).soul twinkies was an art/zine,20 pgs per issue,with 3 issues printed in 1988(50 issues,full size).tom teenagers stories for boys,12 issues,all me,from 1986 to 1988,sold out of comic relief and through factsheet 5.skullfuck 1 through 5 were drawn from 1989 to 1991.madsoul 1 was printed by wowcool(full size,color cover),and 2-5 were self published,from 1990 to 1993.kill city collection,21 pgs,full size,printed by wow cool).visually stimulating comics 1 through 4,1991-3,were printed by wow cool,and myself.1 and 2 were minis,3 was all tom teen,and 4 was the true crime issue.real madness comix 1 (shittown) was self published,150 copies.barfly magazine,portland ore.,1st issue cover,1 pagers first 6 issues.uzi duck minis,#1 printed by wow cool,uzi duck mini 2,self published (20 copies),#3 self published(50 copies).cometbus 39 was drawn in 1995-6.real madness comics 1-3,printed by teenage dinosaur 2003-present.too fucking small comics 1 and 2 are 1/4 size minis.its cool to me to see the progression of zines and the mixed effects success has on this medium.when klaus showed me mail art at his vt cabin in 1980,i was really into the whole dada aspect of it.i still see that holding up occasionaly.i see alot of zines try to go commercial and fail-mostly mine.when i got reviewed in factsheet 5 ,though,that was the shit.im really glad so many cats helped me get my art printed so many times.this is a chronology of all my zines,for the record.i didnt include album covers,band posters,or 1 pagers and spot illustrations because,y'know,how long can you sit in front of a stupid electric box anyway yo.
