Call for submissions: Eight and No Halves Fanzine #1

It’ll be in a similar vein to Brodsky & Treadway’s Little Film Notebook, but will also cover experimental/underground/avant-garde Super 8 filmmakers, rather than simply resources for small format filmmakers (most of which can easily be found online).

I’m interested in 8mm filmmaking tips and tricks, bizarre mistakes, bizarre malfunctions, accidentally weird results, 8mm movies you like, your thoughts on the future of the format… Anything 8mm film-related, really!

Filmmakers can send in a short (50 words or less) bio, mentioning your favorite film(s) that you’ve made and how to get it/them.

The digital formats I accept are Google Docs, PDF, OpenDocument, and HTML. Images can be PNG, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, or EPS, at 300 DPI. All submissions must be optimized for black and white photocopying. Layout for this zine is half-size, cut-and-paste, typewriter/handwriting.
