Call for contributions to a new Zine Library, opening soon in Bristol!

I feel rather bad that my first post here is going to seem so shamelessly commercial in nature, but I'm in the process of setting up a zine library in conjunction with a shop called SHOP here in Bristol, and we're canvassing for donations and contributions.

All the information is posted below:

Zinesters! We’re putting out a call for donations to help set up a new Zine Library at SHOP Vintage Lounge and Arts Venue in Bristol! We want to create a central reference
resource to help preserve and promote the diverse work of the small
press world. The zine library will be open for interested parties to
browse and read to their heart’s content 6 days a week, from 11am til
7pm.

So, do you …

…. create zines? Want to get involved? Send us a copy of your work!

… not make zines, but have a surplus of them wanting a good home? – we’ll take them!

All zines considered.

About SHOP:

SHOP is a vintage clothes, accessories, homeware, books, vinyl and games vendor, based in Bristol. . We have a lovely lounge where you can sit with a free coffee and a cake
and peruse our lounge reading material. We have exhibitions every
month, film nights and a host of other events every week.

All of our profits go back into funding arts events in and around the local community. We believe in independent and cooperative trading, supporting local artists, crafts and other artisans
and strongly believe in community engagement
