hello - yes, blogs seem more one-way than forum topics. but i've just recently found the blog section of this site, and it's pretty cool. i will read a bit (and comment if you say something freakin cool). ;D

this is true... and this is why people tend to flood the forums even if its not something to be discussed. Like people announce call for submissions among other different announcements there (which i thought was better off posted as a blog). i must admit im guilty of it sometimes too, but only because i know people rarely ever read and/or comment on blogs.

It isn't possible to list these in order of activity, but I am not sure how they could be more obvious being in the middle of the page. I agree people don't comment as much on blog posts, but usually they are pretty straight forward, like an announcement or someone's thoughts. If it is a question, then usually it is in the forum section.

It doesn't mean people aren't reading it, though.

for me, these posts in the Blog are not as conducive to participation--the way comments are handled and the fact that posts don't seem to list themselves in "active order." in fact, it took me about 2 months of being a member before i realized that this Blog section even existed on WMZ.

move some of your ideas/posts to the Forum and i believe you'll receive much better participation.
