Submit to Basements and Living Rooms: Stories of House Shows and DIY Music!


Share your stories and experiences with DIY music! This zine will focus on
house shows but isn't necessarily exclusive to houses. I'm looking for
writings, photos, artwork and whatever else you can think of about going
to house shows, playing house shows, hosting house shows, playing in
DIY bands, booking and promoting DIY bands, distros, putting out cds and
tapes, how house shows and DIY music affect your life, etc. The goals
of the zine are to share stories, reminisce, promote DIY bands, house
venues, and other DIY spaces, tell why these things are amazing and
important parts of the underground/DIY/folk/punk music scene and engage
and inspire houses and bands to continue. Also, if you put on shows at
your house or some other type of venue, please submit a description,
photo and location if you wish, and list of upcoming shows. We could
even have a r.i.p. show house section.


DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1ST

documents, or physical copies of writings, photos, artwork, etc. Email
