Anti-Internet Rant 355,000,000.2: My Complaint to the USPS

Your options don't apply, but your automated system forces me to choose one. The name and address was correct and was delivered to the right place. My package was severely damaged.

My package from Vitacost, received Friday, Sept. 3, opened today, was very beat up. The items---vitamins, instant tea, soap and toothpaste, were covered in dust. The liquid soap's lid was half-unscrewed and leaking over the other items. The plastic tea jar was cracked, leaking and mixing with the soap.

I've cleaned it all up, and most of it's there and useable, but I thought I should let you know.

I'm more bothered by your automated system of contact than the damaged box (accidents happen). It's flawed, tedious and time-consuming and a barrier to communication. Please just provide an e-mail address, and don't try to over-organize it as much.

I'm not expecting any action, but I felt I should let you know about this.
