ANOTHER old-new camera!

My uncle, seeing my sudden interest in photography, gave me ANOTHER old-fashioned camera and it was the one he started off with! It takes batteries that are pretty hard to find, but otherwise works great! It's a canon, and even has a zoom lens (my other one doesn't, you just have to aim and shoot). It came with two lenses, tons of black and white film, and a camera bag, but I'm not sure the magnification of the lenses. This weekend I'm gonna look for things to take pictures of; I'll most likely go down to the river with my two baby brothers (ages 8 and 11) and their little kid friends, and see what we can find. I plan to develop at least some pictures in my uncle's dark room this weekend if possible.

And I've already started working on some sketches for issue 2 of my zine. That's all for now!

I officially envy you! I've learned to develop black and white in college, but havent done it since I moved. Cant find any place that would let me use their darkroom and I dont have my own :(

hey! ever tried lomo? they say its a toy camera but i find it very interesting. :) anyways, it'd be great to see the great pictures you'll come up with!
