There was one in Samuel Johnson's circle who could mimic the Doctor just perfectly. His catch phrase, that so impressed Johnson's biographer Boswell, went like this, "Davy has some convivial pleasantry about him; but 'tis a futile fellow." Name the mimic.
IS: David Garrick (I even gave you the answer in the question!) Boswell adds this, "He (Garrick) was always jealous that Johnson spoke lightly of him.
