a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Poems written in September, 2011 [poem notes in brackets like this]
POEMS
1 [Verse for a Film intro]
This is a film that explores
the wonder that surrounds us
from the universe high above
to the very smallest.
2
Drop!
Drop down from the window.
Land!
Land softly, quietly
Now!
Now go quickly.
3 [first of two poems on ruins]
Everywhere on the planet
that we dug
we'd find ruins
cropping up.
"How old is this place?"
I asked as I
woke from my dream
and my shovel dissolved
5
twinkling,
warbling,
dark-breaking,
lights!
SAYINGS
Is time getting bigger as the universe expands.
Don't versa your vice!
Corporations that are too big to fail, are too big to oppose.
That's like putting braille on a painting!
How many candles can one candle light?
Like a cactus drinking in the rain ....
