April is the one year anniversary for new zine reviews on the blogo sddzine.blogspot.com. It has been a really great experience that has allowed me to connect with a bunch of amazing artists, writers, and ornery opinionists, and to re-connect with some of my old friends. I started the blog with the simple idea of highlighting the world of zines a bit, as well as to create some kind of online archive. The response has been nothing but positive and I hope to keep doing it for as long as people keep sending me their zines. Anyway, thanks to everyone who sent their stuff in over the past year and kudos to everyone who is still hacking away at this important, and often overlooked medium.
