La tête à Britney #1 (Avril 2009)

I started a new mini-size zine on my own, La tête à Britney (Britney's head). it's entirely handmade with ink drawing, collages and texts! Sorry for the english speakers, but it's entirely in french... I can send tyou a little translation with it, i'd be glad to!

I don't really know how to categorize it... Art zine is right, but there is a little concept behind. It's not a feminist zine because i won't talk directly about my personnal life and defend feminist idea (even though i used to do it in real life), but off course my art is all about the woman body and in a way, about my life... I use a lot of irony in it, and mysterious sentences, kind of poetry... The title is a reference to Britney's bald head, i love it when good people go mad and let their mask fall! But there is also the idea the inside of a head, what's inside Britney's head? It can be interpreted as the inside of an average girl, myself, and others. Kinda like a diary...

As i look it now, i realise there is also the idea of the liquid, being the ink running from page to page, like menstruations haha the idea of the door, opening, to inside, the cunt, the tears and so on. I'm not good at explaining what i do with a hangover.^^ And you will discover it if you're interested in.

I have printed it in B&W but the original copy has some colors. Maybe if i can i will print it in colors and sell it as a rare edition haha

Je prends, et en plusieurs exemplaires! c'est possible de récupérer des Morts Nés aussi pour la distro, on échanger ou bien je paie, ou bien les deux! Mais j'en veux! j'en veux! j'en veux! J'ai amené ton fly "perdu virginité" avec ma distro quand nous avons joué à Paname.
