We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

I just recently found this site. I'm from Montana, have lived in Alaska, Northern California, and am currently geographically isolated in Northern idaho. I rarely get out to see bands anymore, but when I do, its religious. I spend a lot of time on youtube watching punk/indi shows from the glorious early-to-mid 90's. I hike constantly and often run into interesting animals. When I do, I write about it. I published "Spaghetti dinner and Dancing Fanzine" from 1994-2002. I still randomly publish "Darlene Rocknroll Fanzine", and have just recently started "the Creeping Coyote". I love zines.

Dan, good to hear from you! this is such a great forum. It sounds like you are still very active in the independent publishing world. That's awesome, Ten Things was one of my all time favorites, and a standard in the Missoula (and Northwest) rock scene. I got sidetracked by life for a while (I had a job where I got paid to hike!) and have just recently started writing for publication again. Thanks for the wiki write up. I'm very close to finishing the new issue of 'the creeping coyote' and will send you one asap.

Hey Randy! I used to trade zines back with you a bunch in the '90s (I did 10 Things out of Seattle). I always loved your zines, I just did a write up on SD&D on ZineWiki today. You should go and fill in the gaps. I was spinning through issue #12 while writing it. Pretty timeless stuff man!

Hey Randy! I don't think I ever read an issue of "Spaghetti Dinner..." back in the day, but I do remember it was plugged in the back of THE ASSASSIN AND THE WHINER once. (It was probably on my "List of Zines to Get", but somehow I never ordered one.) Do you still have any of your zines around?
