As I was getting ready to leave my parents' house last night, my Dad indicated me to stop and I glanced over to where he was sitting on the couch with our lovable cat, Bob. "He likes Ornette Coleman," he said, and at first I didn't know what he meant until he had one of the headphones from his recently-bought IPOD held up to Bob's ear. I awoke today to the sound of a drum cadence outside my lonely apartment complex in Vancouver, WA. I literally jumped out of bed and saw and heard to my pleasant surprise a band marching by a block outside my window. There's life in Vancouver after all!!! (Limited time only.
