These days, the Ms Valerie Park Distro is glamorously operating from many different locations at once. We’re in Olympia packing orders and stocking shelves and (at the same time!) out on the road doing paperwork and responding to emails. It makes us feel big, grand even. But we’re trying to not let…Continue

Forgot to mention this: the first six issues of Without Words & Without Kneeling have been compiled into one giant awesome zine! It's great. As far as what it is, it's like this...
"Tomas Moniz (Rad Dad creator and editor) has been doing something unprecedented of late- a serialized novella in zine form. Not your standard zine fare. It's a story unveiled…Continue

Due to popular demand, our dearest distro employee, Chask'e, got to work and entered a bunch more information for most of the 75 zines we have on Etsy (and some of the books, as well). Included now is: number of pages! zine sizes! inside images! some back covers, even! All of which might give you a better…Continue

Just realized there's a long list of things about to go out of print and/or out of stock and maybe a little 'last chance warning' was in order. There were so many I forewent the descriptions and just provided links, please forgive my haste.

Always a favorite around these parts, the new issue of Rad Dad arrived last night. We couldn't be more pleased.
"Rad Dad, a zine on radical parenting, is something I can't say enough good things about. It's about parenting,…

I've been looking for an excuse to use one of those coupon codes on Etsy for a while now and I guess being on the verge of our 500th sale on there is a good enough one. So, until the end of the month, you get 15% off any purchase, whenever you use the code below.
When we started it last year, I thought it would just be a few extra sales, so it's been a wonderful surprise. Thanks.…Continue

Hey, thought I'd ask again this year since didn't find anything last time around: anyone know of/make a good zine on gardening? I'm a big gardener and would really love to distro a good guide. I find the books out there are a little intimidating to the beginner, so I've always thought it'd be a good place for a zine to step up to the job, but have yet to find something.Continue

Hair is one of the most interesting zines around. Using only the subject of human hair as a premise, they create a wonderfully interesting and drop dead gorgeous zine. Then they only make a few and they sell out and become collector's items (at least that's my guess as to what they're doing). Last issued they peaked everyone's interest by interviewing Tobi Vail of Bikini Kill fame…Continue

After continual prodding from distro friends, we broke down and did it: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ms-Valerie-Park-Distro/129344460466581
We just started it a few minutes ago, so nobody likes it or friends or whatever happens on the Book, so hey, maybe you could go and check it out and click a button?
And, as you may be able to tell, we don't otherwise use Facebook and have little idea about…Continue

Just got a stack of these from the Portland IWW and they are really awesome, especially for those who have seen the any of the 1920's/30's pamphlets that the IWW put out; Eberhardt Press nailed the look! Beautiful, informative, and true to their history.…Continue
