Hello! A new season is upon us and, though I'm ridiculously cold, I couldn't be happier. I love fall. This last month has been harvesting from the garden, touring, being sick, and getting the house ready for some winter nesting. It's been tumultuous in its seeming calm. It's kind of hard to believe so much happened in such a short amount of time. But it did and it was (mostly) good and here we are at a new month, a new season, and a new newsletter. Hope you all are well and I would love to send…

After a long hiatus,
Race Revolt 5 is here! This large-sized compilation zine on race, gender, and activism is out of England and doesn't often make it over to our shores, so we're honored to be carrying it. We also got a few more issues of the
Race Revolt Collection, a best of from the first four issues.
I will also…

Hello all! And a warm welcome to the many new folks who signed up at last week's Portland Zine Symposium, a blast that cleaned us out and filled us up. Many new things, many things we need to restock. I've been a bit obsessed with helping orchestrate/conceptualize a tour, so my mind has been in the clouds and I've been catching up on distro-related things very slowly. Despite my slowness, this month is still one of the best months ever. Especially if you want to do some reading. It runs the…

The Portland Zine Symposium cleaned us out! So, while we rush to get things back in stock and add all the new acquisitions, we thought we'd give another little list of things that are down to the last copy and might not be back in again for a while (or, in some cases, ever).
Eaves of Ass #7 (Zine) ($3)- as he works on an epic piece on Juggalos, it doesn't seem like printing anymore zines will be in the cards for a…

Very suddenly LB's Truckface has become one of my favorite zines. And now we carry them! Hoorah!

Truckface #10- This is what got me hooked on the goodness that is Truckface. There was a copy of it in the car on tour last spring and it got passed around until we'd all read it and were making jokes about "the most famous leaf of all," cracking…

Hello and welcome to August. I hope you all had as exciting and adventurous of a July as I did. It was great. But, goal for this month: hang out in
Olympia. I haven't been around that much and it's a bit of a shame since this is such a good place to be in the summer. So, other than
going to the Portland Zine Symposium (August 28th & 29th, see you
there?), I think I'm going to hold somewhat strong to this goal. Here at the distro, there are many goodnesses- music that spans…

So, it took a while, but summer has finally come to the northwest. A week ago I was wearing three layers of sweaters and now I'm wearing short shorts. It's pretty good. A couple things- one,
bestsellers. The list I made at the end of last year seemed to be a total hit (everybody love lists), so I made one for the first half of this year. I also made a whole pile of new bookmark/flyers (four different…

1.
Basic Paper Airplane #3 (Zine)
2.
Jesus Christ Superzine #1 (Zine)

This was in the last newsletter, but I thought I should give it proper reverence. It's this month's Feature and is a pretty amazing tribute to a pretty amazing feminist.

Hey, does anyone make/know of any good gardening zines? I've tried to carry some in the past and nobody has ever come through. I'm an avid gardener and it's the season, so I would really like to carry something on the subject! Shoot me an email if you have any suggestions: msvaleriepark(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks! -JJ
