so, i am sorry but this site is filled with assholes who make me feel sad and upset about the state of zines. If WE MAKE ZINES is a reflection of the new generation of zinesters then we are in serious trouble.
I refuse to keep my mouth shut. Everytime someone writes something stupid on here that I can see I will speak my mind. Even if it means I am a devil cunt whore everyone grows to hate.
I LOVE ZINES. I LOVE ZINES for VERY intense reasons.
do you find the zinesters who have been doing this for over a decade have more patience then newer zinesters?
its like, i took 2 weeks to send a zine out and i got fucking REEMED for it. i could fucking scream.
its like our nation is at this point of everything having to be INSTANT. i dont live that way. and i'll tell ya, if you order from me, which i hope you do, please note it WILL take at least 3 weeks due to my… Continue
I am just gonna come out with it: I have not been in a good mental place and have struggled with drug addiction for a long time now. One of the problems I had was honoring orders and trades. I just want to make this public blog post so you know I have every intention of going through all my files and sending every single person the zine I promised, even if it was a year ago.
Please know I am not trying to cheat you or be a lazy bitch. I'm just having some… Continue
"Ax Wound is my favorite critical horror magazine. The articles are intelligent, funny, insightful, and incredibly entertaining. These girls know their gore, and they make you want to re-watch all your favorite films with a whole new perspective. I love it and highly recommend it to any horror fan." -Eli Roth

i'm thinking of doing an episode all about what it means when we say "the zine community." and do you actually FEEL PART of this so called "zine community?" DO you feel alienated? Do you feel it is to politically correct? do you feel like there are cliques? do you feel accepted and free to write about any ol' thing you want or do you worry about people calling your work offensive or not politcally correct? do you feel like the 'zine community' is your home? why? I WANNA HEAR YOUR STORIES,… Continue

Hi Everyone,
I got sidetracked and it's been so long since iv done an episode of zinecore. I miss it terribly. And so, if I have asked you to be on the show before but didn't follow through I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Tomorrow I plan to get in touch with a lot of you again. In the meantime, if you are interested in being a guest, talking about your zine, promoting a project, get in touch!
You never know what you find when you look for music on etsy.com. Music isn’t about major labels or even money anymore. I will prove it with my next few reviews.
Hell, with this album its not even about music.
The Final Grrrls are a wordcore band, their headline on myspace proudly proclaims “a wordcore revolution” Being a wordcore girl myself I’m happy about this. The Final Grrrls are just two girls but boy do they pack a huge glittery punch. Its a split album half Jolie Drama (nee…Continue

This is a neat idea for a podcast. Hannah Neurotica brings you a regular round up of interviews with zinesters, guest readings from zines and news and announcements from the worldwide zine community. This whole podcast has got the feel of a zine – slick it ain’t, but that’s a big part of its charm. Hannah’s interview style is chatty and natural and because of this rather than despite it, she gets some really interesting answers from interviewees. And this is no ego trip; there’s a real… Continue
