In a recent e-mail club message I wrote about how a law from 2008 forbade anyone selling any children’s books published before 1985 to children, unless they passed a lead content test! The law, that was trying to protect children from lead, went to extremes, and went waaaay too far. UPDATE – the law has been repealed.
