a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Just realized there's a long list of things about to go out of print and/or out of stock and maybe a little 'last chance warning' was in order. There were so many I forewent the descriptions and just provided links, please forgive my haste.

As a result of being rather hectic these past few weeks as well as the cumulative effects of vengeful technology’s refusal to cooperate with me, I have had a bit of a zine lull. But I am now back in the swing of things!
The Sarah Tea- Rex Etsy Shop is now stocked with copies of all of my zines- so they are ready to be ordered and sent to you all! I have managed to get a copy of …Continue

I've been looking for an excuse to use one of those coupon codes on Etsy for a while now and I guess being on the verge of our 500th sale on there is a good enough one. So, until the end of the month, you get 15% off any purchase, whenever you use the code below.
When we started it last year, I thought it would just be a few extra sales, so it's been a wonderful surprise. Thanks.…Continue

It may not be happening in your neighbourhood yet, but if the UK manage to close down all of it's branch libraries because of so-called cost cutting, it could happen anywhere. Please support this by sharing with others.
Hair is one of the most interesting zines around. Using only the subject of human hair as a premise, they create a wonderfully interesting and drop dead gorgeous zine. Then they only make a few and they sell out and become collector's items (at least that's my guess as to what they're doing). Last issued they peaked everyone's interest by interviewing Tobi Vail of Bikini Kill fame…Continue

The Copy Scams are a the band equivalent to a 24 hour zine!
Steve was visiting Portland from the UK and thought it might be fun to start a band while he was in the US. While he was in Portland he lived in a closet in the basement of the Spiral
house and tricked housemates Alex, paul and Marc to form a band in three
weeks before the 2010 Portland Zine Symposium.
In those three weeks they wrote, practiced, and recorded…Continue

So I just finished stapling and folding the first 100 copies of Basic Paper Airplane #4, the long-promised family issue. What started as a family history project turned into reading a bunch of books on the history of the human family and considering if we should even be connected to our families at all. It was a weird road. What came out is 40 pages of things I learned along the way.…
