Late night/early morning inspiration
I used to stay up late, tapping away at my computer keyboard or reading a book when I should of turned the lights out hours ago.
Getting older I try to get to bed at a reasonable hour, especially if I am working the next morning. While I could stay up as late as I wanted to (being an adult does have its advantages) I find I have lost my night owl tendancies.
However when I am inspired, that is a whole other story. There have been instances where an idea has struck me…

Suggestions/Talking Points needed - Please Help
Over the weekend I ran into an friend who owns one of Milwaukee's awesome indy bookstores. I'd mentioned to him in the past that he should carry zines, and he's always hemmed and hawed about it.
When I saw him on Sunday he said he was open to having a discussion about it. So I'm asking for talking points to convince him. I think it would be great, as MKE doesn't have that many places that carry zines.
Questions I'm anticipating:
1) Which Zines? …

Zine Classifieds?
I love to browse the classifieds in the Zine Worlds and send out random postcards and notes to the people that are looking for penpals, submissions, mail art and the like. So, I'm playing with the idea of making a zine centered around classifieds like the Classifieds section in the Zine Worlds. I would love to hear what people think about this idea. If you think it's a good idea, send me some info for your own zinester classified ad. It could be for swaps, handouts, mail art, penpals, or…

The Great American Zine Novella
Forgot to mention this: the first six issues of Without Words & Without Kneeling have been compiled into one giant awesome zine! It's great. As far as what it is, it's like this...
"Tomas Moniz (Rad Dad creator and editor) has been doing something unprecedented of late- a serialized novella in zine form. Not your standard zine fare. It's a story unveiled…

April Distro Update!

I live in Vancouver BC and I'm new-ish to the zine game. I am here because my hermit impulse is to photocopy a dozen of whatever I got going and then retreat back to the darkness, fondling my toner-smelly pages and giggling with satisfaction while eating a victory dinner of peanut butter toast and getting crumbs all over everything.
But it occurs to me that zines are best shared, not used as coasters, toast-holders, or spider-whackers.
So it would be good to…

Almost Gone!
Just realized there's a long list of things about to go out of print and/or out of stock and maybe a little 'last chance warning' was in order. There were so many I forewent the descriptions and just provided links, please forgive my haste.

restock and zine smoking barrels
As a result of being rather hectic these past few weeks as well as the cumulative effects of vengeful technology’s refusal to cooperate with me, I have had a bit of a zine lull. But I am now back in the swing of things!
The Sarah Tea- Rex Etsy Shop is now stocked with copies of all of my zines- so they are ready to be ordered and sent to you all! I have managed to get a copy of …
