NEW ART ZINE

I finished this back in July, and it has taken me this long to get around to posting it here.

The way that this zine was made:

First I did a very large very intricate drawing. Next I photocopied it. Next I cut up the photocopies to the size of the pages. "New" Zine Library Opening September 9th!

Hi there! I have been handed over the Welland Zine Library by Jen Pilles to move to Niagara College, my place of study, for students to take advantage of. I am right now in the process of updating and re-vamping the collection for the new school year (starting September 9th), and need your help!

24 Things I've Made... zine - for 2009 24 hour zine thing project

I've just finished my zine for the 24 hour zine thing project - we were supposed to make a 24 page zine from scratch in July in a single 24 hour period. since this was my first zine, I didn't quite fit in with the project rules - but I made the zine within 24 hours, though spread over the weekend. Book Arts Fayre : Saturday 15th August

Ffotogallery presents our Summer-time Book Arts Fayre!

On Loving 'Dracula': a 24-hour zine

Here's the cover and a sample page of my 24-Hour Zine Thing creation, On Loving 'Dracula.' I created it on my birthday, July 16. It includes an essay on the 1931 film directed by Tod Browning and starring Bela Lugosi, quotes from the movie, recommendations for further reading, and many posters and images from the film. It's 24 pages, 1/2 size, black and white.

2009 Zines 101 A zine making workshop SUCCESS!!!!
