Just wanted to update that my friend Kylie Buck and myself have started a review site for NZ zines! We post one a week on Mondays, and are putting out an "annual" in time for Wellington Zinefest this year in November.

We're very excited about International Zine Month here at the Ms. Valerie Park Distro and have some plans for celebrating this month, the biggest being to have more zines in stock at one time than ever before! I haven't been on We Make Zines in forever. But this year I decided to participate in the International Zine Month events and for the first day I had to sign into my account and write about this month.
I was looking forward to it for about six months now. I broke my elbow and had a surgery around late December and have been out of commission for way too long. I felt useless and couldn't engage in any extensive creative endeavors. But I'm better now and I am so excited for this month…Continue
