Portland Button Works and Zine Distro needs your help!

starters

I love starting things. I am a chronic beginner. Mostly this is restricted to my reading materials - I'd say at least 50% of the books on my shelf are half finished, or just started, or even almost entirely read but for some reason discarded a few chapters from the end. Zines are pretty great because the time it takes to read them is usually shorter than the time it takes for me to get sick of reading them or become interested in something else. work in progress

i just laid out the first 6 pages of All Things Ordinary #1. This is a big night for me because this will be my first zine since March of 2004. This is also my first quarter sized zine. Thus far, i have done 2 full sized, one half legal size, and one half size zine (in that order). I doubt i will ever make another full sized zine, but i really liked the half size and half legal size formats.

Dancing

Most afternoons I put on my favourite music and have a dance. Today it was to the Ministry of Sound Annual 2006, such a classic album. I bought it for a ski trip to Beaver Creak USA, Nothing quite like double diamonds to a thumping beat, I highly recommend it for mogals. Personally, I don't see the appeal, powder is so much better.
