Zine...Call?

Hallo!

I have been posting this project on mail art sites, but then I thought that since there will be zines in the exhibition (my own) I might try and make it open to zinemakers too. You can see pictures of my previous exhibition on my blog, which included mail art I received for that project, my zines/books, prints, and also a makestation where people could make their own mail art or zines. I've not done a zine call before, but to follow the… Continue

Lending Library

Hey Portland folks,

Wednesday the 4th at 3pm I am having a shelve building/ mural painting get together at my house. This will be an ongoing project until the murals are finished and enough books/zines are donated. I'm rly excited to see how a space that isn't necessarily community oriented will turn into… Continue

So because I've already finished my 2nd story a while back (still awaiting publication), I've decided to start on a new project. It's Nymphoids' Survival Guide. It should be a survival guide for girls (inside and out :P, no discrimination here loves!), including some fashion guides and DIY projects to look amazingly awesomely cool without breaking the bank, boy/girl problems, school/work stress, and everything about us girls/ladies/ women! XD from stories to advice to photos or original artwork… Continue

Nymphoids: Disambiguation

Okay, so before I tell you about my new project, someof you might be wondering why I call my zine and almost everything Nymphoid(s). Well, when I was trying to think of a name for my first zine, I was at first cinsidering more generic names... since it was a heart break series... i was thinking of cheesy names... but you see, that isn't like me at all. I like metphores, hidden meanings and such things...

So I was like, I need somethign that can represent everything that I will write… Continue
