“Paws Up!” is a brand new zine that focuses on all things cats: the human connection with them, how great they are, how much they sleep, that cute little thing they do that you’re convinced no other cat ever does, and everything else embodying why cats are so great.
Hello, I'm trying to raise money to get my new zine off the ground. Nothing extravagant, just $200 to cover website upgrades and in-kind print copies of the 1st issue of the zine to contributors. If you have anything to spare it would be very much appreciated. Let me know that you've donated and I will…Continue

fēlan means ‘feel’ in old English, and that’s exactly what this new zine is here for – to make you feel.
fēlan is a poetry and visual art zine. It will be published in print 6 times per year, with contributor interviews posting online weekly.
The first issue, to be published in September, is all about love. Send in your love poems and visual art to email@example.com with the subject line ‘fēlan submission.’…Continue

As part of my ongoing effort to simplify my life, I've re-released a zine and a chapbook that were out of circulation for a long time. The zine "Genius (Love)" has been out of circulation for 4 years because I never found the time to screenprint the covers! I decided to re-do the cover so I can just…Continue

Love is like a rock
It's oddly shaped
Hardly even fully clean
And can inflict pain
Unto the most thick-skinned individuals
But it's always there
In all the down low places
You don't care to look
It's under your feet
And in cracks in the wall
It's a constant
Like the wind
It's a token of the past
Like a memory

Dear Potential Readers and Contributors,
I have been tinkering with the idea of starting a literary rag for all of the poets out there that don't quite fit into the mainstream mold. So, I've finally gone and done it. This magazine is about expressing yourself. We do not restrict our publication to the confines of traditional poetry. If you write about drunken nights out, remembered or imagined, we want to see it. If you write about how society…

Following on from part one and what events I attended as part of International Zine Month here in Auckland.
Hands On Poetry
I used to write various poems when I was a lot younger (even won a couple of contests at school with those poems) but haven't written any since then.
The Hands On Poetry was an event focusing on poetry zines and National Poetry Day. The launch of self-published poetry anthology Hands Like Mirrors was the…Continue

Two weeks ago, the Dutch indie-rapper Macronizm asked me to join him for a show in Berlin. I translated some of my poems and made a mini-zine out of one of them. I had short of two days to complete it.
The zine contains the poem 'Die Kolchose'. I made 100 minizines, all numbered and stamped and packed in a neat little envelope, which I left at all kinds of places in Berlin.…Continue
