Youth On The Run: A zine about travel, adventures, photography, writing, art, music, and having no regrets.

Hello! My name is Alex, and I am here because I love zines. I recently completed my first issue of Youth On The Run and I need some help. I would love to have a zine i can hand out for free, but I didn't realize how expensive it was to print zines! I started a kickstarter project in hopes of funding my zine to be able to print the first issue. If this zine sounds like something you would be interested in please donate! Any contribution is appreciated and rewarded! :)

Thank…

It takes courage to grow up...

Hey my names Nicole, I live in Adelaide, Australia (for now). I’m a socially awkward person, I’m currently studing film photography. I collect Records and old cameras. I love music, mixtapes and mail art, baking cupcakes, taking photos, live music, and my typewriter. ANOTHER old-new camera!

My uncle, seeing my sudden interest in photography, gave me ANOTHER old-fashioned camera and it was the one he started off with! It takes batteries that are pretty hard to find, but otherwise works great! It's a canon, and even has a zoom lens (my other one doesn't, you just have to aim and shoot). It came with two lenses, tons of black and white film, and a camera bag, but I'm not sure the magnification of the lenses. This weekend I'm gonna look for things to take pictures of; I'll most likely… Continue

Also, they're gonna run a little one-page thing on Shotgun Seamstress in their July/August 2009 issue.

For those of you who've never heard of ColorLines:

ColorLines has been the national newsmagazine on race and

politics since 1998. We tell stories from… Continue

Poupeé de cire Poupeé de son

I should really improve on my french, and my blogging skillz.

Alas, I'm sitting in the telly room on a saturday night bored out of my mind, while my sister is engrossed in a film about the Jacksons (starring the worst look-alikes I have ever come across) on 'True Movies'. I think we might go to the cinema later, though I don't know what we will see. I saw Valkyrie on Wednesday, and I didn't rate it. The story is fascinating, but seriously, Tom Cruise? The way it was organised was also… Continue
