Two weeks ago, the Dutch indie-rapper Macronizm asked me to join him for a show in Berlin. I translated some of my poems and made a mini-zine out of one of them. I had short of two days to complete it.

Don't know if you get many people on here just entering into the whole dipping-my-toes-into-the-water phase of zine making/reading (i'm attempting to do both) but my first attempt at making my own zine turned out...let's just say, amateurish. Truthfully, i mishmoshed it all together collage-style (clippings from magazines and papers) in two days, and put it together with a paper-mache-like glue, and thread binding.

I love starting things. I am a chronic beginner. Mostly this is restricted to my reading materials - I'd say at least 50% of the books on my shelf are half finished, or just started, or even almost entirely read but for some reason discarded a few chapters from the end.
