a place for zinesters - writers and readers
I hear the acronym D.I.Y. (do it yourself) everywhere I go these days, it has put a new face on an old trend called problem solving. I used the D.I.Y. concept to create this publication you’re reading and I even bought into this popular trend, by purchasing a domain name, titled http://www.diy-publishing.com. There, I offer a small press publishing service to indie authors like myself. The D.I.Y. concept is definitely a…Continue

Hey folks; haven't been on here for a while, but we released issue ten of our zine 'The Screever' a month or two ago. It has interviews, reviews, puzzles, little recipes, and a bunch of other stuff in it, and we've also recently done a new compilation tape and a new tote bag, all of which you can check out in our photos, or buy from our online shop here:…Continue

Keepin’ The Ape Drape Alive:
Starting 1980 outta Huntington Beach, CA is The Vandals! One of the most recognizable bands in punk. They are survivors of the 1980’s hard core scene who managed to stay punk and not just give up, even after the exit of founding vocalist Stevo Jensen. Along with being a legendary band, they also appeared in the punk rock favorite…Continue

The details are all the same as in the previous blog post, but I thought I'd share some cool news! Our headliners for the fest are ACxDC (straight edge power violence legends) and RESIST AND EXIST, arguably one of the most recognizable names in radical punk history.
To sum it all up, if you can be in Fresno, CA on October 15, you can table FOR FREE and catch some super good bands. I hope to see some of you there.
Email us at email@example.com or contact…Continue

The Bel-Tower is a DIY music and arts collective I co-own in Fresno, CA. We're holding a fest for our one year anniversary on October 15 (at our space, of course), and we would love to have some people table! If you have zines, music, crafts, literature, or anything else you'd like to sell and/or give out, we want you there! Tabling will be free, but we'd love it if you could kick us a couple bucks for the bands. One catch: you'll have to provide your own tables and chairs because ours are…Continue
