a place for zinesters - writers and readers
I'm going to teach myself glitch art, because it looks like something that's pretty cool. What's are you guys opinion on it? Since I can't draw, I can only, probably, do graphic art. But I'm using GIMP, which should be okay. I had a Photoshop program, but lost it, and have no idea how to reinstall it. Of course it's not the "expensive" one *wink wink*.
Been gone for a bit. But, I have a couple of little comics featuring baseball legends from about the late 1800s to the mid 1900s.
Each comic features 8 different baseball players and facts about…Continue

I've finally gotten around to putting together my first zine, and find myself in a bit of a pickle - it's 60+ pages.
I tore up an entire box worth of my old sketch books and scribbles because I was sick of dragging it around when I moved. I've tried to cram them all together as tightly as possible into this one…
Aside from zine production, I am experimenting with other forms of art, including snail mail art.
I produced stationary designs and envelopes, but I am now trying to craft postcards.
I was wondering if anyone reading this has any tips and suggestions on how to make postcards. Have you made them before? Are you still making them now? Is there a standard size for postcards? What should appear on the back?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! My name is Alex, and I am here because I love zines. I recently completed my first issue of Youth On The Run and I need some help. I would love to have a zine i can hand out for free, but I didn't realize how expensive it was to print zines! I started a kickstarter project in hopes of funding my zine to be able to print the first issue. If this zine sounds like something you would be interested in please donate! Any contribution is appreciated and rewarded! :)

I'm getting the rear doors on my van fixed soon (and a tune-up).
I was supposed to bring it into the shop today, but the snow got too heavy and I don't even have an ice scraper.
Soon as my doors are fixed I'm picking up two stacks of speakers (six total for only $100…Continue
