I’ve also got some folks from We Make Zines to share their stories of Winter madness. My friend, Jetta Vegas, shares her ways of keeping cozy in Seattle. When I am stuck in the house all day, music is one of the biggest things to cheer me up, so I asked my friends in The…

New Zine - DIY/Counter-Culture/Arts

Hi everyone,

I guess the zine experience is really all about finding out about different philosophies and/or opinions on a huge range of subjects, which really is what makes them generally quite personal, but I understand that there are a lot of zines and related blogs out there so thanks for taking the time to read what I have to say…

Day one project updates!

The garage has been cleared out and the murals spray painted. It's a lovely day. I've been keeping myself busy with library stuff, and completely forgot about my school obligations! I need to work on my time management skills. With the murals done, all that is left now are the donations and the materials to build the shelves with. The library should be open in a month or two depending on how smoothly everything goes. I might need someone to volunteer during lending hours also, if that is… Continue
