Project Dissimulation - first zine (& more!) available now
As April is bowel cancer awareness month, I was keen to get the first issue of the Project Dissimulation zine completed in time for April – so keen that I managed to be finished early! So far I have completed Volume I of the zine, a matching Project Dissimulation badge (I will create a new badge design for each issue, so they can be collected!), and bird badges made from upcycled postage stamps for anyone who would like a completely individual souvenir of the Project - but there is still…

Chicago Zine Fest 2013
It was another great time at the Chicago Zine Fest, but I almost didn't make it. The fest filled up on the first day of registration, and I had to get on a waiting list. Fortunately a spot opened up at the last week. Then I had to buckle down and finish my new zine that I'd begun slacking on.
I met some…

Zine submissions?
I'm thinking of a assembling a zine called "There's an elephant in the room" based off my experience with coping with a secret the size of an elephant and was wondering if anyone would want to submit anything (poetry, drawing, pictures) that have to do with their experience keeping a secret.

Maria James-Thiaw's "Talking 'White' " Poetry Collection
Everyone's excited about Maria James-Thiaw's recently finished manuscript which may turn out to be the big PostDada Press 2013 Blockbuster.
"Talking 'White' ", the latest release from postDada Media, will be available April 2013. This collection of poetry takes a hard look at the taboo subject of intra-cultural bullying that takes place within the black community, whether it's crabs-in-a-basket-syndrome, paper bag tests, or just colorism in all its forms.
Maria has…
