If you're reading this and you have a zine (or several) that you have made that is still available, I probably want it.
I'm trying to start a zine library in Far West Texas. I have close to 500 zines and I'm organizing them so that I can make them available to read at local public libraries on the weekends. I could use more zines.
What do you have for sale?
Apologies to all for the name change... I'm still trying to figure out a good pen name to write my Zines under. I don't mind telling you it's a pen name. I've given it a lot of thought and I feel that using a pseudonym is the right thing for me to do right now. I don't plan on overthrowing the government or publishing crazy manifestos... I just want a bit of anonymity when it comes to making some more personal and bolder art and comics.
I've been working on other…Continue
Mishap #35, Chittering Madness, is nearing completion. Should be around 90 pages, 15, 000 words, with color photo insert. This is part introduction to birding, part travelogue as two middle age punk rockers discover the joys of watching birds, getting out in nature, and making bad puns (well, I make the puns, to be fair to Tracy).
I'll have it printed some time in June and available by mail and at this year's Portland Zine Symposium. See you…Continue

“Fast Trends of the Hypnovacationers”
‘Completely unwind on the final frontier’ is the invitation from the ON Medical Zoo. How can such a loaded subject ever be relaxing? Is it for the good for the people? Has extreme measures become necessary due to deteriorating conditions? Although this “reality game show” doc is…

I remember some time ago hearing about Zines... and I was interested. Very interested. I never heard of them before and I was intrigued. I knew about comics. And I knew about Graphic Novels. But Zines??? Cool!
But it just wasn't the right time. The moon wasn't in alignment, my ducks weren't in a row, my head was up my ass... you know how it is. Anyway, I recently placed an order for comics from a Pittsburgh comic shop. I wanted to sample only Pittsburgh artists and I wanted…Continue
Some time ago, I started a Google+ Zine Community, mostly because there wasn't one already.
So far, crickets. I think we have 3 members and no one (including myself) as posted a thing. I though it would be a good place to post a photo of my zines with a link to where they could be purchased.
I know that Google+ is a big stinker. But I figure, it cannot hurt. If…Continue
It just occurred to me that I hadn't actually said much, despite reading through a lot of forum threads. So, here I am! I'm still figuring out my "style" when it comes to making things... I have a one-page zine about independence days in North America if anyone would be interested in that.
This is a good place.
