Whuddafug #7 now available.
Doing things a little different with this issue. Going for that shotgun scatter approach, tri-fold touristy brochure style. More releases, more often, and easier to distribute. Must keep feeding the meat into the machine….Enjoy!
In this issue:
* Hallucinogenic rants

LOST TAPES series. (Some of my lost, then found, recordings from the eighties and nineties in all genres ). This time we feature the instrumental:
"THE SIGNAL" .
Lots of rhythm in this 2+ minute instrumental.
When I'm just playing my Pet Dog Guitar, it's pretty hard to spotlight just the rhythm. That's what… Continue

The website is http://gimmebrainsdistro.tumblr.com

Just a quick blog to say I've just finished my final exam (yay!) and will be working on producing zines and catching up on penpal letters over summer :) Again, I'd like to say sorry, yet again for being so late and everything (plus I deleted the posts I think are whiny). I'll fix stuff up and send as soon as possible.

The Copy Scams are a the band equivalent to a 24 hour zine!
Steve was visiting Portland from the UK and thought it might be fun to start a band while he was in the US. While he was in Portland he lived in a closet in the basement of the Spiral
house and tricked housemates Alex, paul and Marc to form a band in three
weeks before the 2010 Portland Zine Symposium.
In those three weeks they wrote, practiced, and recorded… Continue

I'm sorry to have inform everybody that Tim Scannell died on September 24, after a 9-year battle with cancer. A family member e-mailed me today about it.
Tim initiated a trade with me and we traded a few times afterward. Behind his often spontaneous and candid comments, and eccentric style of expression, there was a kind person. I didn't know him well, but was glad to known him as papernet pal.
Tim's address should be easy to find on this site. Some of you may… Continue

With Halloween having just passed I began thinking about superstitions and the silly things people do for fortune and good luck. I found myself making a wish this morning when my clock read 11:11 and I thought to myself..."I wonder how this supersition or tradition started?" I also found myself wondering how many other people out in the world make a wish at this time? So in thinking of these questions it stirred the creative parts
of my brain into thinking, "I should dedicate a zine… Continue
