I currently feel like I am going through life now with a vision that is clear which makes each day fulfilling. I touch briefly on the sudden death of my step-dad, the recent election…

It will be a few days before I can send out any more zines for trade... I plain ran out, and I can't make more until I get back to school. So to those of you who are trading with me: don't worry, you'll still get your zines. It just may take a few days longer than it otherwise would. (On the bright side, the new versions should have actual printed covers!)

I just wanted to post and say how EXCITED I am about today and what today brings.
Today is a zine fair at the Penrith Regional Gallery in Emu Plains. I am especially delighted today because I have loads of new stock in the distro and I can't wait to see Tiny Paper Hearts new felt animals. I also can't wait to find a new notebook to spew my thoughts into all the time. It's been far too long without a pen in my bag.
Besides this, I also just sent off some $$ for a zine grab…

So, I have been having this battle with my zine collection and my shelves. It comes down to the fact that this zine collection that is over 15 years old and even though it was picked over by my ex-husband I still have a ridiculous amount of zines and not enough shelf space for them. Over the years I have come to find that the zines that are dearest to me are ones that have been created by friends and penpals so those are the ones that will be staying with me. however, even after that filter… Continue

I'm listening to Billie*
With prints at my side
I'm thinking of printing
And knowing I've tried...
And that it's paid off!
My prints are all done
Now all that remains
Is stapling and fun!

Hi,
Thought I'd do a quick blog about the Comica/London Underground Comics Event(http://www.paulgravett.com/comica/comica08/comica08.htm) which was held at the ICA in London this saturday gone.
Being fairly new to attending Small Press events I woke on saturday pretty excited, pulled on some clothes grabed my comics (that I would hopefully be selling loads of) and skipped to the train station. 'Toot toot'!! went the train to Victoria as it pulled into the platform, whoa!!! My step…

I should be washing my hair in preparation for work day #543659426 tomorrow but I'm still at my computer, two hours after telling myself I should switch the damn thing off. Copies of Koocachoo 4 went out last weekend and I await some sort of response from distros. It's been a while since I sent out an issue that I was pleased with and it seems that a big chunk of distros have fallen off the face of the internetal earth. Where did they go? If I had enough money and time to re-start Shoebox I…
