Good Hair Day

Monday was a good mail day -- No, a great mail day. I haven't had one of those in a while, and I really needed it too. I hadn't really recognized how down I've been as of late ... until I felt the upward surging mood-shift.

I received two packages on that day. The first was from Jim Lupio, who'd invited me to show my zines in the…

New issue of Rad Dad!

Rad Dad #18 came in a couple weeks ago and thought I'd do a post dedicated to this because it is SO GOOD! It's ridiculous how much I like this zine and how much some people avoid it because it's about parenting. But, let me just say again: THIS ZINE IS FOR EVERYBODY! It's really great.

Description: No zine makes me think about what I want… Continue

We celebrate youth, having a good time, marginal life, the unknown, art, beer, music, the obscure, design, nudity, travel, hedonism, urban… Continue

The LOST TAPES. Here are two pieces built on Beethoven Classics. Both composed and played by me. The first is a lost tape, the second is a recent video. Let me hear what you think.

FRACTURED BEETHOVEN. One of the Late 80's LOST TAPES. My version of Ode to Joy melody in Beethoven's ninth symphony. Piano. This was HARD to play! (Note takes about 5 seconds to load).…

How I spent my summer vacation! Brainscan #25.5! Copy Scams, a zine band!

Brainscan #25.5

At the IPRC on July 11, 2010 the Portland Zine Symposium sponsored a 24 hour zine challenge. A 24 hour zine challenge is when you make a zine in

24 hours.

Well, this is the zine I made that night. You are not supposed to have

any idea what you will put in your zine before you start so I had no

idea what would come out of this. What did…

Give me an educated guess."
