About two months ago I blogged about my friend, photographer Damon Daood, who surprised me with a photo in my inbox of one of his models sitting in the laundromat, reading the copy of KFG! that I sent him back when it first came out. True to my word in that post, I sent him another copy of that particular issue (so that he has a fresh one), as well as a copy of the new zine.

Almost Gone! (part two)

The Portland Zine Symposium cleaned us out! So, while we rush to get things back in stock and add all the new acquisitions, we thought we'd give another little list of things that are down to the last copy and might not be back in again for a while (or, in some cases, ever).

Animal Train (kid's poem) / looking for illustrator

The barnyard animals looked forward each day
to seeing the speeding 12:05 train.
They'd gather at the fence and watch through the slats
the monster machine snaking past.
Their eyes would first spot the cloud of smoke.
Then turn to watch each car go.
Then turn to catch the trailing caboose
bounce about till it was lost.

first review of I.O.O.A.O.F. # 2

alriiiiight, this is from Lights Go Out #8, a punk zine from england. and i think its pretty funny and pretty cool that my zine was reviewed in this zine which also features pennywise, ke$ha, bad religion..... ahem, yerrrr...... but its a great review of an okay zine....................................
