NEWSPAPERS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS? Maybe this is why:
Most newspapers, have put pleasing corporate sponsors over pleasing readers. It shows on every page, with more ads and fluff, and less features the readers want. Why are they surprised they are loosing customers. They have shifted coverage to more scandal of the few and less issues of the millions. What’s left for the reader – dull comics?
Newspapers listen to a former reader – pull back on ads, reduce the influence of… Continue

What is a QUATRO. It’s a new type of very very short poetry that usually compares two things, in a haiku – way, packing a lot of meaning in a very small amount of words. There is usually a very real comparison, and behind it a 2nd deeper meaning. I see that many seem to like these – great! Pass your favorites around if you want – Tom Hendricks

Sleeping Beauty (poem)
Telling the tale
of Sleeping beauty
too often misses
what makes it so great.
It’s not the years
when the young girl is sleeping
but the moment a kiss
tugs her awake
