a place for zinesters - writers and readers
I am doing a KICKSTARTER for my new zine!
Yes, it's true. I just started a Kickstarter for my latest issue. I'm curious to see if I can make the goal. And even if I don't, well then, at least I tried.
All of the information is here: Syndicate Product: META-COMICS Issue.
I hope you'll head over there, watch the video, and consider contributing!

Hello! :)
Just a little introduction for my first blog post here. I'm Sam Beasley, and my partner and I run an online magazine called L'Allure des Mots (www.lalluredesmots.com - the mag itself contains some NSFW content). We're a mixture of literature (poetry, flash fiction, and short stories), art, and fashion. We're considering going print, but for what we want to do it's a little costly at the moment.
Anyway, looking…

Cookzines Wanted!!!
I've got an upcoming deadline to write a cookzine review article for LibraryJournal. I've got a couple, but I'm looking for a few more.
Criteria:
• Currently available
• Real zines, not cookbooks that started as zines
• Pretty much any style as long as it's about food and has recipes.
Additional wants:
• Diversity! I'd love to see POC cookzines, queer cookzines, and non-vegan cookzines in addition to the awesome vegan and…

Call for submissions: Absent Cause #5 – Dangerous Gifts
Absent Cause zine was established in 2008 as a venue for people from myriad cultures and selves, pushed to the outskirts and into the underground, to find each other, draw connections between their experiences, and gain strength for their struggles.
The term “Dangerous Gifts” is usually associated with the special contributions of people with mental illness / variance. But there are many kinds of dangerous gifts we experience and share: the person who chooses to wear…

My Letter to Spokane Food Not Bombs
Hello FNBers,
Thanks very much for the great meal yesterday.
I've hesitated to do this, but I'd like just to make a few comments on your local FNB and my involvement with it.
I had the sense that my attempts at a face-to-face inquiry about FNB met with some discomfort from some members, so I thought it might go over better in writing. We libertarians tend to be rather blunt and direct in our discussions, and maybe I came across as overbearing. If so, my…

I am new & curious
I´m interested in zines about travelling, queer, sexuality/relationships, poetry, decolonization, feminism - and whatever else my brain can´t think about right now.
I´m curious to meet other zinesters, swap zines, network!
Once I got a bit more time I will write about the non-monogamous zine I made - and post the call out for a new one.

Review of Gag Me With A...by the Rotherham Zine Library
Hailing from Long Beach, California, Gag Me With A . . . is a pic’n'mix of counter-culture, essays, collage, photos, poetry and music. Featuring a roll call of far-flung contributors, the result is a colourful miscellany of topics. There are musings on Cab Calloway’s hair, comic strips, an intrepid account of cycling around the world and some short fiction pieces — my favourite being ‘Crispin, Prudie & The Flamingos’ which is like Mills & Boon penned by the Angel of…
