a place for zinesters - writers and readers
On the second of August is Auckland Zinefest. This year will be a bit different to others because it's on a Thursday evening and will wrap up in about three hours, usually they are on Saturday and run for the entire day.
Every time I attend a zine fest I try to have a new magazine to giveaway and I do this by having my deadline just before Zinefest day. This year I am wanting to do something a bit different and have decided to put out a mix CD with zine booklet.

Over a year ago I wrote a letter to Microcosm Publishing expressing my concerns with their continuing to involve an abuse perpetrator in their organisation. They never responded to me. This week, there are many more of us writing- united- to Microcosm. This time I hope we’re too loud to be ignored.
